Problem
People donʼt wear Helmets for safe riding with E-scooter.
The e-scooter is a short-term action, the usage time is not long, and the risk that people feel is low because it is possible on the road as well as on foot, so they are not active in helmet consumption.
Solution

  • We will provide a helmet rental system through the app
  • People can rent a helmet weekly or monthly by application. After the renting period,
they can send it back to the company to be sanitized the helmet for its next use.
  • Encourage e-scooter companies to require people to register their helmet
    when they use a scooter.
  • The helmet must have a barcode or code number to connect with the e-scooter at the start of a ride.

Benjamin is a UX/UI designer at Twitter. He works long hours. He lives in San Francisco with his roommate. He usually uses an e-scooter or e-bike to go to work because he wants to save money to move to a better living space later on. But he sometimes thinks e-scooters aren't safe and that it's easy to be injured. He needs a helmet when he’s riding but he doesn't know how expensive it is and if there’s a helmet rental shop near his area.
